If you were to step into my office, you’d find a neat and tidy desk, because yes, I’m one of those people who actually thrives on organization. My laptop is front and center, with everything in its place so I can jump right into editing or emails without hunting things down. It’s simple, but it’s where a lot of the behind-the-scenes of The Candid Firefly happens.

Now, I have to be honest, my desk isn’t always where I edit. A lot of times, you’ll find me curled up in my living room chair with my laptop, editing away. It’s my favorite cozy spot, especially when the light is soft in the evenings. Somehow it makes editing hours feel a little less like work and a little more like catching up with old friends.

I laid everything out so you can see it all in one place: two camera bodies (one ready with a lens, the other without), my laptop, my SD card case, and my little business card pouch with one card sitting out. Honestly, seeing it all together makes me smile because every scratch and smudge carries a memory from a past shoot.

One of my favorite parts of my workspace is the little vintage camera collection I’ve started. They sit on shelves above my desk, quietly watching over me while I edit.
